UV System
Our UV systems are used throughout a wide range of water treatment applications, including industrial process water, potable water and municipal water. UV water treatment is a clean, simple, effective way to treat bacteria and viruses in water. Treating water with Ultraviolet (UV) light is one of the MOST effective ways to treat waterborne microorganisms (such as bacteria and viruses) in water. In this UV water disinfection process, water is exposed to UV light which disrupts the cell structure of the microbe and thus destroys 99.99% of harmful microorganisms.
Features :
- Environmentally Friendly: no disinfection byproducts, no added chemicals, and no wasted water
- Low Maintenance: once installed, annual service of lamp change and sleeve cleaning is all that is needed
- Small Footprint: no holding tank needed and essentially no water pressure lost
- Safe: UV water treatment is a clean, simple, effective way to treat bacteria and viruses in water
- Energy Efficient: UV water treatment uses as much power as a 40-water light bulb
