Hydro Pneumatic System
Hydro Pneumatic Water Supply System enables water supply under pressure to the taps and flushing connections in domestic and industrial establishments by means of automatic pumping equipment. The hydro pneumatic system consists of a pressure pump and a pressure tank. The pressure tank consists of a rubber bladder surrounded by pressurized air. Water being a non-compressible fluid, pressurized air is used. Hydro pneumatic tanks are vessels that hold water and air under pressure. The tanks do not have a bladder and so air is in direct contact with the water. The compressed air creates a cushion that can absorb or apply pressure as needed. A hydro-pneumatic pumping system has a ground level storage tank instead of an overhead storage tank. Pressure sensors are installed at various parts of the plumbing in a building that make sure that there is a constant pressure of water everywhere.
